Your Skyware System has an exciting new look available! Skyware is moving away from the previous "table format" view of things to introduce a cleaner, more visual, easier to read screen layout that still delivers all your needed information in one easy glance. Your customizable Quick Menu on the left continues to contains all your needed links and desired shortcuts to access the most commonly used features for your Property, whilst now providing your wider menu options (via the "Menu" link at the top left) as quick pop-up windows, meaning you need not navigate away from your chosen landing page until you wish to open and use one of your specific use screens. The new look for Skyware can be set as your default look via the Property Definition screen (using the Other tab, Menu Style option, select "Modern Light" from the drop-down list of available looks).
As part of this new look, Skyware also has a brand new landing page available. The landing page is the screen where you will start after logging in to Skyware Systems. The Dash Chart combines aspects of both your Dashboard view and your Charts screen, providing a quick visual breakdown of the room activity for today, as well as displaying your three chart options, by default your ADR, Rev PAR and room revenue forecast charts. If set as the landing page, the Dash Chart may also be viewed or returned to at any point using the (house) icon on the left end of the more streamlined Action Bar. The Dash Chart may be set as your landing page for any Skyware user (by an authorized manager via the Users Maintenance screen, reached via the Configuration Menu).
The Quick Menu links available on the left are as always customizable (using the Quick Menu Settings command in the Manager's Commands screen). Any quick link to a specific use screen will immediately open the screen in the current tab. A quick link to a menu (denoted by the presence of " => " after the item name) will open the selected menu as a pop-up window over the current screen.
The new look Quick Menu always contains a link for the Full Menu, which when selected will again open as a pop-up menu on screen for you to select your desired option from.
On any pop-up menu, if your desired option is another menu, the new menu pop-up will replace the previous menu. Any menu pop-up window contains at the top the breadcrumb trail for reaching it, which is a live link back to the previous menu(s); if you realize that you need a previous one rather than the current one displayed simply click on the appropriate one. In this example, the Property and System Configuration Menu is currently being displayed; it was reached via using the Full Menu to open the Other Menu, followed by the Managers Commands Screen Menu, which the Property and System Configuration Menu link is found on.
The Action Bar is located across the top of the Skyware Systems screen, and provides quick access to the more commonly used Front Desk features of the system. Simply click on the task name and the appropriate screen will open.
The commands available on the Action Bar include:
